About the Role
As the Back-end Team Lead, you will drive the development and maintenance of our core systems and services. Your role involves designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure back-end solutions that promote our products and platforms. Leading a team of talented back-end engineers, you will collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and functionalities. Additionally, you will uphold best practices, standards, and performance within the back-end codebase and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in the development and maintenance of our backend systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Plan and prioritize project tasks and deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of back-end systems.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of back-end systems.
- Implement and maintain automated testing and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; preferably a Master's degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in coding and debugging, with knowledge of at least one programming language and a willingness to learn more.
- Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Expertise in Software Architecture.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of back-end developers.
- Experience in database design.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of Production-Grade Orchestration is advantageous.
